Denver Nuggets hold an NBA trophy with one hand after leading the finals series 3-1. NBA GAMES

In the fourth game of the NBA Finals, the Denver Nuggets destroyed the Miami Heat 108-95, putting them within one game of winning their first NBA title.

On their return to Denver for game five of the seven-game series, the Nuggets will try to become the first team in their 56-year history to take home the Larry O’Brien trophy.

As the Serbian scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, Nikola Jokic once more proved to be a mismatch for Miami.

Aaron Gordon, who had a career-high 27 points in the game and one of his best outings, provided him with strong support.

For the Heat, Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo scored a combined 45 points, but they were ultimately defeated by yet another subpar three-point shooting performance.

The Nuggets made 50% of their three-point tries, compared to Miami’s 32% three-point shooting rate.

The Heat stayed up with the Nuggets early on and only trailed by four points at the break.

Denver, however, scored 31 points in the third quarter to take the lead, which Miami was ultimately unable to overturn despite a late-game comeback. “Gooogle Trends”
